What is the story?

Based on Stephen King's short story, Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption, and the multi-award winning film starring Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins, the story follows inmate Andy Dufrense as he begins his double sentence for murder at Shawshank Prison. Known as one of the country's worst prisons, the only way through the bullying, abuse and injustice turns out to be friendship with fellow prisoner Red. Together, they navigate the hellhole, pooling their talents to find a way out.
